Storage basics

What can I store at StorePoint?

StorePoint is intended for household belongings, furniture, boxes, tools and suitable business stock or equipment. Suitability depends on the item, dimensions, weight, packing and handling requirements. Tell us what you have and we'll confirm whether it is a good fit.

What cannot go into storage?

Dangerous, illegal, perishable and living items cannot be accepted. Ask about anything unusual before bringing it to the yard.

What size are the containers?

StorePoint is planning to use 20ft containers, approximately 6 metres long and around 33 cubic metres in volume. Capacity varies with furniture size and packing.

How long can I store for?

Tell us the expected duration and we'll explain the available minimum term, payment cycle and notice requirements before you book.

When can I access my container?

We'll confirm the customer access hours and entry process before you book.

Drop and Load

How does Drop and Load work?

We check the delivery address and arrange a container for a suitable space. You load it yourself or arrange help through AMS. StorePoint then collects the same container and stores it in Bromley.

Where can you deliver a container?

Tell us the full address or suburb. We'll confirm whether delivery and collection are available and check vehicle access, placement and ground conditions.

How long can the container remain at my address?

The available loading period depends on the booking and location. We'll agree it before delivery.

Can someone help me pack or load?

Affordable Moving Solutions can provide packing, moving or loading help where available.

Site, containers & protection

How is the Christchurch site secured?

The yard is gated, monitored by CCTV and supported by site lighting. We will explain the access process before storage begins.

How are the containers protected from moisture?

StorePoint uses moisture-protected storage units and will explain how to prepare and pack your belongings.

What lock do I need, and who holds the key?

We will explain suitable lock options before move-in. You keep control of your key unless a different arrangement is agreed.

Is insurance included?

Insurance is not included unless your quote or agreement expressly says so. Ask your insurer whether belongings remain covered while stored or transported.

Pricing, payment & terms

How much does storage cost?

Container storage starts from $65 per week including GST. Delivery, collection, moving help, locks, insurance or other services may be separate.

How do I pay?

Booking information will confirm the payment cycle, accepted payment methods, invoice timing and GST treatment.

Is there a bond, minimum term or exit charge?

The quote and storage agreement will state any bond, setup cost, minimum term, notice requirement and exit charge before booking.

Do you offer business pricing?

Yes. Pricing depends on capacity, duration, accepted goods, access and any transport or lifting support.
